MGA together with the Energy Commission of Malaysia (ST) and the Energy Council of Malaysia (ECOM) will be organizing the 6th National Energy Forum as per the details below:

Venue : InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Theme : “Sustainable Energy for Malaysia- Where Are We?”
This event is the foremost energy forum in the country and is supported by the Government of Malaysia through the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Prime Minister’s Dept., Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) as well as PETRONAS, Tenaga Nasional Bhd. (TNB), Sarawak Energy Bhd. (SEB), Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. (SESB) and Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). It brings together senior Government officials, regulators, industry captains and key stakeholders to discuss and highlight on developments, emerging issues, challenges and opportunities of the energy industry in Malaysia towards contributing to the growth of the country’s economy.
The event will be officiated by the Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Maximus Jonity Ongkili and will feature two prominent keynote speakers, Mr Nobuo Tanaka, the former Executive Director of IEA and Dr Dejan Ostojic, Lead Energy Specialist of the World Bank.
