MGA’s 22nd Annual General Meeting

The 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Malaysian Gas Association convened on 18 April 2008 at 5:45 pm.  

Thirty six members of the Association and invited attendees were present at the meeting where the minutes of the 21st AGM and the annual report and audited statement of accounts for the year ending 31 December 2007 were adopted. The Meeting also unanimously elected the following members as Council Members for 2008 :
YBhg Datuk (dr) Abdul Rahim Hj Hashim, Nominated Representative of PETRONAS as President of MGA, Mr Dick Benschop, Nominated Representative of Shell Malaysia Ltd as the Vice President; Mr Suresh Vasudevan, Nominated Representative of ExxonMobil, YBhg Datuk V V Nathan, Nominated Representative of Delcom and Puan Zainab Abdullah, Nominated Representative of Tenaga Nasional Berhad as Council Members.
 

KPMG Chartered Accountants was re-appointed as the external auditor for the Association.

An Extraordinary General Meeting was held immediately after the adjournment of the AGM to deliberate on the proposed amendments to the Rules of the Association. The EGM unanimously approved all the 9 Resolutions tabled for amendments to the Rules.
